Ephesians 4:11-13: So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Apostle Led:
Primary Focus: Building Foundations, establishing order and reproducing leaders
Core Nature: Visionary, pioneering and kingdom expanding.
Strengths: Brings order, long term and generational fruit.
Dangers: Can be overly administrative or authoritarian if the heart of servanthood is lost.
Prophet Led:
Primary Focus: Hearing God's Voice, purity, and guiding people into intimacy with the Lord.
Core Nature: Revelatory, discerning and presence driven.
Strengths: Keeps the church sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading and aligned with Heaven's voice.
Dangers: Can drift into instability or emotionalism if not balanced with teaching and structure.
Evangelist Led:
Primary Focus: The Harvest, salvation, deliverance, healing and baptisms.
Core Nature: Soul winning, outreach driven and revival oriented.
Strengths: Reaches the lost effectively and keeps the church mission minded.
Dangers: Can neglect deeper discipleship and teaching if outreach overshadows foundation.
Pastor Led:
Primary Focus: Caring for the flock, fostering relationships and maintaining unity.
Core Nature: Shepherding, nurturing and community building.
Strengths: Creates healthy, relationally stable believers.
Dangers: Can be inward focused or resistant to new moves if outreach and apostleship aren't emphasized.
Teacher Led:
Primary Focus: Equipping believers with the Word and grounding in truth
Core Nature: Doctrinal, instructive and truth anchored.
Strengths: Keeps the church grounded in truth and free from deception.
Dangers: Can become intellectual without the fire of the Spirit if not balanced with encounter.
